FIELD: mechanical engineering; methods of combined and alternate cutting-in of engines.
SUBSTANCE: according to first method, two engines are mounted in parallel and are furnished with two clutches and transmission with output shaft. Crank selector of place of application of force on rotor for engagement of clutches is turned. Using said crank selector either extreme points on rocker for alternate starting and connecting of engines or middle position for combined operation of engines is chosen. Clutches are released by elastic members. Device for combined or alternated cutting-in engines mounted in parallel consists of two clutches and transmission with output shaft. Device includes rocker and crank selector of place of application of force on rocker for engagement of clutches, and elastic members for releasing the clutches. According to second version, two engines are mounted shaft-to shaft. Engines are coupled by two-gear train and intermediate gear is brought into meshing with said gear train either in turn or simultaneously by means of selector, thus providing alternate or combined cutting-in of engines with unidirectional rotation are used, idler gear is installed between engine gear and intermediate gear.
EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption, increased service life of engines.
