FIELD: technology for detecting fast, intermediate and thermal neutrons, and also gamma-radiation.
SUBSTANCE: device consists of scintillation block indicator, including input decelerator of neutrons of hydrogen-containing substance, internal disk-shaped scintillator of cerium 6Li activated silicate glass, being in optical contact with input port of photo-electronic multiplier, and block for electronic processing of signals. Additionally in scintillating block indicator behind input decelerator of neutrons, made in form of cylinder with cone-shaped hollow, positioned are concealed by means of light-reflective film additional input scintillator of cerium 6Li activated silicate glass in form of hollow cone, additional cone-shaped neutron decelerator and internal disk-shaped scintillator of cerium 6Li activated silicate glass. Additional input scintillator in form of hollow cone is positioned inside input decelerator.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of registration of both fast and thermal neutrons, and also simultaneous registration of gamma-radiation, accompanying neutron emission of splitting materials.
