FIELD: radar engineering; controlling effective dissipation area of irradiated target.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device is, essentially, planar grating of parallel horizontal sections equally spaced apart, each incorporating series-connected active controlled-conductivity conducting members. Grating is disposed at certain distance in direction of electromagnetic wave propagation from metal reflecting backing; whose function can be performed by electricity conducting surface being shielded and built in magazine made of radio-transparent material. Signal reflected from electricity conducting surface over field can be reduced by in average 30 to 70%.
EFFECT: reduced signal reflected from electricity conducting surface.
