SUBSTANCE: method involves setting bone fragments. Holding wires are introduced from distal humerus fragment over fracture line into the humeral head. Tube having a sharpened working end is introduced along the holding wire through soft tissues to the humerus. Two-leg fixing member rods are introduced through tube having its length shorter then fixing member length. The fixing member rods are introduced into cortical bone layer retaining the fixing member connection part above free end of the tube. Rods of the second two-leg fixing member are introduced into cortical bone layer through the tube in a plane intersecting with the plane of the fixing member introduced as the first, to bring connection parts of the fixing members in contact. The connection parts of the fixing members are fastened together above the tube. Rods of both fixing members are introduced into humeral head in single step.

EFFECT: prevented fixing member migration; reliable fastening conditions.
