VIRUS-VACCINE AGAINST AVIAN INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61K39/12 C12N7/00 

FIELD: veterinary virology, biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: virus-vaccine comprises viral material from attenuated strain deposited in the collection FGU VGNKI at registration number "K-58 № 122-DEP" and a stabilizing agent taken in the ratio, wt.-%: 85-95 and 5-15, respectively. The strain is reproduced in SPF-chicken embryos of 9-11 days age with the infectious activity titer value 5.5-7.0 lg EID_50/0.2 cm³. As a stabilizing agent the following substances are used (separately or in combination): defatted milk, lactose, gelatose, sucrose and others. Virus-vaccine represents dry homogenous pink-brown mass as a water-soluble cylindrical tablet. Chickens are subjected for vaccination since 10-14 days age in the dose 100-1000 EID₅₀/ml by drinking method. Immunity in birds occurs in 14-21 days after the second vaccination and retains for all susceptible period.
