MAGNETIC SYSTEM OF THE SEPARATOR (ITS VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B03C1/00

Abstract RU 2272674 C1

FIELD: magnetic systems of separators used for extraction of magnetic susceptible particles from the loose and liquid materials.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the magnetic system of the separator used for extraction of magnetic susceptible particles from the loose and liquid materials. The magnetic system of the separator is made with alternating magnetic poles and contains the mounted on the magnetic shunt one after another magnetic blocks manufactured with the various directions of magnetization within the boundaries of one magnetic pole. Each magnetic pole of the magnetic system is formed by the surface of one magnetic block made with directions of magnetization continuously changed along width of the pole. At that all the directions of the magnetization are intersected on one line, which lies in the pole plane of symmetry. Between the magnetic poles there may be additional permanent magnets magnetized perpendicularly to the plain separating the adjacent poles of the magnetic system, and the magnetic blocks may be of the various geometrical sizes. In the second version the magnetic system is made with alternating poles and contains the mounted on the magnetic shunt one after another magnetic blocks manufactured with the similar directions of magnetization within the boundaries of one magnetic block and with the different directions of magnetization of the magnetic blocks within the boundaries of one magnetic pole. At that the magnetic blocks are magnetized and installed so, that the directions of magnetization of the blocks, which are passing through their geometric center are intersected on one line, which lies in the plane of symmetry of the pole formed by the surface of these blocks, and each pole is composed at least of three magnetic blocks. The invention ensures the greater value of magnetic settling forces and the greater pliability in coordination of the magnetic system with the design and the technological parameters of the separator.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the greater value of magnetic settling forces and the greater pliability in coordination of the magnetic system with the design and the technological parameters of the separator.
