FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to magnetoelectric machines with transverse magnetic flux. Electric machine is characterized by the fact that geometrical dimensions of magnets width bm and pole pitch of rotor τ for electric machine design with axial air gap are selected so that the ratio of the width of the magnets to the pole pitch of the rotor is equal to 0.4 (bm/τ=0.4). Stator is located on one side of the rotor. Rotor includes two sets of flux concentrators alternating with magnets and placed along the rotor radius, and the stator is located on one side of the rotor and has two oppositely connected windings and two sets of teeth. Total number of stator teeth is equal to the number of poles of the machine.
EFFECT: increasing power factor of electric machine with transverse flow, reducing rated current and losses in copper of winding, increasing efficiency and torque of the machine.
