FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method includes production of a steel blank, filling a charge therein consisting of chips of fused anti-friction bronze mixed with flux, blank is sealed with the help of two technological lids, the blank is fixed in centers of installation for bimetallization, performing rotation of the blank with heating its surface with high-frequency currents (HFC) by HFC inductor up to charge melting temperature, isothermal holding and cooling are carried out, at that, in the process of heating and isothermal holding, longitudinal movement of the blank relative to HFC inductor is performed, and heating time T of blank surface is set according to said temperature, in accordance to the expression t=245.6*exp(-8.77*Q) sec, where Q is specific heating power, kW/cm3.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the quality of the fused layer due to uniform heating of the blank when performing bimetallization of bushings.
