FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: oscillating tube is used for measurement of mass flow rate. Multiplicity of phase evaluations is generated from multiplicity of motion signals of oscillating tube which signals are filtered by mode-selected filtration method. Frequency of mode of motion signals is estimated. Multiplicity of estimations of time difference is achieved due to division of multiplicity of phase estimations by mentioned mode frequency. Time-difference data are used for measuring mass flow rate. Method provides removal of undesired vibration components of oscillating motions of tube, which components are close to excitation frequency.

EFFECT: improved precision of measurement.
