FIELD: technology for acoustic measurements.
SUBSTANCE: optical microphone has body, membrane, radiation source, fiber-optic light guide, focusing lens and photo-detector. Membrane is held along perimeter of body. Microphone is equipped with guiding lens, polarizer, analyzer, photo-multiplier and registering device. Polarizer is mounted behind guiding lens. Analyzer is mounted before focusing lens. Analyzer is connected through rod to internal surface of membrane with possible rotation by means of spring-lever mechanism.
EFFECT: simplified construction of device.
