FIELD: pet care products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to litter fillers for animals (cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, terrariums, etc.) living in human homes, and can also be used as bedding/flooring in chicken coops, stables and livestock farms. Pet toilet filler is made in the form of granules from recycled waste paper in the form of newspaper, books, corrugation and natural additives. Moreover, the raw materials undergo sequential crushing, fluffing, moistening of the raw materials used to 15-25%, and the finished granules are made with a diameter of 4-12 mm and a length of 6-18 mm. The filler manufacturing method includes preliminary sorting of raw materials, sequential crushing, fluffing, moistening, and then granulating the raw materials and cooling the granules. In this case, the raw material compressed in the granulator is pressed through round holes by a countersink of the matrix.
EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of fillers and increasing the absorbency of the filler, as well as increasing the service life when stored in a dry place and convenient disposal into the sewer or food waste for further processing.
