SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to household chemicals and can be used as a litter for animal toilets. Method of producing animal litter involves grinding components, mixing, forming, granulating and drying. Litter consists of calcium carbonate, a lumping additive, a structure-forming additive with a wetting agent and chamomile extract. Initial components are contained in the filler at the following ratio, wt.%: calcium carbonate 50-65, bentonite 5-15, wetting agent 0.1, chamomile extract 0.1, structure-forming additive – the rest. Calcium carbonate used is chalk, the lumping additive used is bentonite, the structure-forming additive used is an organosilicon additive Leyksil-40, and the wetting agent used is Sulfanol-35. Formation of granules is carried out by forcing through perforated holes with a cell size of 2.0 to 5.0 mm and a moulding pressure of 0.5 kgf/cm², and drying is carried out at a temperature of more than 100 °C.

EFFECT: high moisture capacity and lumpiness of the litter during use.
