FIELD: power machine engineering, namely manufacture of heat exchange apparatuses and its members.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of lacing tube blank with possibility of controlled rotation around lengthwise horizontal axis; alternatively locally realizing induction heating of tube blank by means of high frequency electric current in zone for forming each corrugation. Each corrugation is formed by rolling and recess of corrugation is calibrated. Rolling is realized by means of shaped roller of corrugation rolling mechanism and by simultaneously bending and upsetting metal of tube blank along its lengthwise axis at rotating blank. Shaped roller is mounted with possibility of rotation, lengthwise and crosswise motion and it has profile of working surface corresponding to profile of corrugation recess between points of changing arc curvature sign of recess or its changing law. Rolling of each corrugation and simultaneous upsetting of tube blank are performed with possibility of changing effort and motion speed of shaped roller and also effort and motion speed of tube blank during upsetting operation. After upsetting each corrugation upsetting of tube blank is interrupted while keeping effort acting upon it. Calibration of corrugation recess is performed after rolling by means of the same rotating shaped roller while keeping effort acting upon it and increasing revolution number of tube blank.
EFFECT: improved efficiency, technological effectiveness, lowered labor and power consumption, enhanced ecology of manufacturing process and high quality of corrugated tubes.
