FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the pipe inside the shell to define ring space, sealing ring space at the faces, and filling the space with heat-insulating material. The faces of pipes are sealed with detachable plugs. The pipe is provided with centering members. Before setting the pipe in the shell, they are mounted in the tank horizontally on the supports. By supplying fluid, the pipe and the shell become axially aligned. After setting the pipe in the shell, the tank is emptied and pipe and shell are dried.
EFFECT: reduced cost.
