SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat insulation of tubular articles. Said technical result in the method of making a heat-insulated pipe, including its installation in a protective shell, sealing the protective shell and applying the pipe with polymer heat-insulating materials, is achieved due to that preliminary on the outer pipe surface an anticorrosive coating is applied, after which mounted are on the outer surface of the pipe or on the inner surface of the protective shell polymer heat-insulating materials made in the form of segments on the basis of a rectangular shape or shards and above or under which installed are centering supports, then the protective shell and the pipe are assembled to obtain a "pipe-in-pipe” structure, that is followed by pouring the free annular space with polyurethane foam using filling machines of high pressure, herewith the centering supports are made from a material with a coefficient of thermal conductivity similar to the coefficient of thermal conductivity of foamed polyurethane.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of operational and physical-mechanical properties/characteristics, that leads to improvement of heat-insulating properties and increased service life of a heat-insulated pipe.
