FIELD: provision of safety in transit, liquidation and experimental finishing-off of explosive devices with an energy release up to 60 kg of thermal energy.
SUBSTANCE: the chamber has a body consisting of a cylindrical part and two flat bottoms with conical transitions. The body cylindrical part consists of two coaxially positioned metal pipes, the central part of the inner pipe is made with a thickening, the area between the pipes in the central part is filled with concrete, and in the peripheral sections- with foam concrete. The inner pipe is strengthened from the inside with rings and cones, with ribs positioned between them. Each bottom has a charging opening with a neck; the bottoms consist of an inner and outer plates hermetically coupled to each other, the plates have openings for installation of transfer components of the operating purpose. Each charging opening is hermetically closed from the inside by a convex power metal cover. A sealing component is installed between the inner plate and the cover; the power cover is hinge-joined to the plate with the aid of a bracket, and in the closed position it is fastened to the plate by bolts installed on the outer side of the plate. From the outside the neck is hermetically closed by a cover with the aid of bolts, the sealing components are installed in the cover grooves. An antifragment protection made in the form of layers of a metal net is installed on the inner surface of the cylindrical part and on the power covers. Armored turrets are installed on the openings from the inside on the openings in the cylindrical inserts of the bottoms. A longitudinal beam with a carriage is installed in the upper part of the chamber cavity. The chamber has an expanded range of use and provides safety in transit, liquidation and experimental finishing-off of explosive devices with an energy release up to 60 kg of thermal energy, which may contain ecologically dangerous toxicants; the explosion products are reliably localized inside the chamber without penetration of them in the environment in dangerous concentrations.
EFFECT: expanded range of use and provided reliable localization of the explosion products.
