FIELD: blasting and protection of the environment from explosive effects.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of devices for localizing explosion products, in particular to explosion-proof chambers designed for examination and research of explosive devices (ED).
EFFECT: increased operational capabilities by simplifying the manufacture and operation of the device. The explosion-proof chamber includes a cylindrical body with flanges, to which end removable covers are attached using steel annular split yokes, and a replaceable anti-shatter protection located in the cavity of the chamber. Replaceable anti-fragmentation protection is made in the form of a steel cylinder and discs and is installed with a guaranteed gap in the chamber body, which prevents the cylinder from jamming during assembly and disassembly. The chamber is equipped with stands for placing it on the desktop in both horizontal and vertical positions. One of the covers is interchangeable and is made in the form of a set of covers with holes of different diameters for fastening tested explosive devices with different landing diameters, parts of which are located outside the cover during testing and are mechanically activated, or for removing the blasting line if the tested explosive device is located completely in the cavity of the chamber with the electrical method of engagement. A removable metal protective casing is attached to this cover to catch fragments of the test explosive device detonation unit, the casing is equipped with a branch pipe for outputting the explosive line or cable, depending on the mechanical or electrical method of detonating the tested explosive device.
