SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the classifying devices separating the granular material in the grain-size categories according to the speeds of their falling in the water medium and is intended for improvement of the qualitatively-quantitatively indices and expansion of the technological capabilities of these devices operation. The hydraulic classifier includes: the body with the pyramidal sections, classing chambers with the tools for the automatic unloading of the sand fractions, the tools for loading of the initial pulp and discharge removal, collectors of for feeding of the up-flow water and the additional wash water. The hydraulic classifier is supplied with the air manifold, which with the help of the electromagnetic valves connects the devices of automatic unloading of the sand fractions and made in the form of the airlifts. At that in the bottom part of each classifying chamber there are back-pressure valves for uniform distribution of the up-flow water along the whole annular space formed by the internal wall of the classifying chamber and the casing pipe of the air-lift, and made with the capability to cut off the up-flow water by the electromagnetic valves simultaneously with switching on the air-lift and the additional water. At that above the classifying chambers there are the annular dispensers for guiding the additional water into the upper part of each classifying chamber. The technical result of the invention is the increased specific productivity in solids, the decreased consumption of water per a process of the classification, the extension of the upper limits of fineness of the separated grains and production of the products of the separation with the higher content of solids.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased specific productivity in solids, decreased consumption of water per a process of the classification, extension of the upper limits of fineness of the separated grains, production of the separation products with the higher content of solids.
