FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sliding supports (bearings and guides) operating under conditions of boundary, semiliquid and liquid lubrication. Method of creating antifriction surface of part includes making of grooves, application of antifriction material and subsequent deformation of material within the limits of elastic deformation of base material. Antifriction material is applied in form of galvanic coating on base of soft metals, and deformation force is set within the range of its yield and ultimate strength. Grooves are formed by method of vibratory rolling by tool with spherical working surface, and coating is applied by electrorubbing method.
EFFECT: provision of nonwaste usage of antifriction material, creating of working surface of high antifriction capability and wear resistance during entire service life.
