FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to multi-layer connecting rod bearings for crankshafts. The bearing contains a steel body. A plasma anti-corrosion bronze coating is applied to the outer surface of the housing. On the inner surface of the steel case, an antifriction layer of lead-tin bronze with microadditives of nickel powder, zirconium oxide, aluminium oxide and cerium oxide, a barrier nickel layer, an antifriction layer based on a galvanic alloy of tin-antimony-copper containing 10-12 wt.% of antimony, 2.5-5.0 wt.% of copper, the rest is tin, and a running-in layer of solid lubricating polymer coating based on molybdenum disulphide with fullerene are applied one by one.
EFFECT: increase in the load-bearing capacity of the liner is achieved.
