FIELD: food industry, technology of confectionary production.
SUBSTANCE: the suggested jelly food product contains food additive of cellulose origin as a jelly substance, decoction of cereal varieties as plant component and, also, a sweetening agent and a food acid. Moreover, components should be taken at certain ratio, weight%: food additive of cellulose origin 30.0-50.0; a sweetening agent 10.0-15.0; a food acid 0.5-12.0; decoction of cereal varieties - the rest. Ready-to-use jelly food product is of dense, stable structure and prophylactic properties that provides the possibility to widen the assortment of confectionary jelly products recommended to be applied as prophylaxis by children and adults in case of excessive body weight, endocrine disorders and atherosclerosis. Ready-to-use product could be applied for improving activity of gastro-intestinal tract.
