SUBSTANCE: method involves placing one or several flexible shells in front of fire line along control band, wherein the shells are formed of material with filtration coefficient increasing along shell lengths; filling the shells with fire-extinguishing substance under pressure sufficient to retain three-dimensional shape thereof with taking into consideration fire-extinguishing substance filtering through shell material. Shell fire-resistance is provided owing to fire-extinguishing material filtration through shell material.
EFFECT: increased operational efficiency and extended range of method application.
