FIELD: tire industry; methods of manufacture of the pneumatic tires.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of tire industry, in particular, to the method of manufacture of the pneumatic tires and may be used at manufacture of the covers of the pneumatic tires by winding of the rubber-coated thread. The method of manufacture of the pneumatic tires provides for formation of the toroidal-shaped shell for the skeleton by the spiral winding of the rubber-coated strap onto the toroidal-shaped mandrel with the following spiral winding on the skeleton of the rubber-coated filaments of the breaker and realization of the side strips, the side belts and the tracks overlaying on it. The winding is realized by the rubber-coated filaments of the textile or metallic cord. The winding on the skeleton is realized at an angle φ = 0°- ±70 to the meridional plane of the toroidal-shaped mandrel in the equatorial zone with the change of direction of the strap winding on the outer boundary of the edge zones and with formation in the area of the edge zone of the thickenings fulfilling the role of the edge zone rings due to the multiple overlapping of the straps in the area of the change of the direction of the winding of the thickenings and intersections of turns of the straps. The breaker formation is exercised by winding of the rubber-coated strap of the metallic or textile cord at an angle ±(60°-90) to the meridional plane of the toroidal-shaped mandrel in the zone of the equator with formation of a layer of the breaker having on its edges thickenings formed as a result of the overlapping of the straps in the zone of the change of direction of the winding. In the space between the thickenings on the edges of the breaker they additionally lay at least one layer of the rubber-coated straps of the breaker using the butt-to-but method of the spiral winding at an angle of φ1 = arctgB/2πR·360°, where B is the width of the strap, R is the radius of the surface of the winding. At that the initial and the terminal edges of the additional layer are cut at an angle for the preset width. The method ensures manufacture the cover of the pneumatic tire with the rigid construction of the tire side and the high productivity of its assembly due to usage of the same kind equipment for winding of the skeleton and the breaker.

EFFECT: the invention ensures manufacture the cover of the pneumatic tire with the rigid structure of the tire side and the high productivity of the pneumatic tire cover assembly due to usage of the similar equipment for winding of the skeleton and the breaker.
