FIELD: engineering of mass communication media, in particular, methods for providing public transport passengers with reference and advertising information.

SUBSTANCE: method includes forming a computer database about all movement routes of transport vehicles, sound files of stops names, sound files with words, phrases and advertising texts, these data are recorded in memory of micro-computer in information plant, in the memory of micro-computer programs are recorded, providing for execution of external control commands, by means of which in memory of micro-computer movement route is selected when vehicle is moving along route, prior to closing doors at each stop and before each stop to input of micro-computer an external control command is sent, triggering software generation of information block by reproducing sound files with words, phrases and texts, while information block generated on external control command, sent prior to closing doors at stop, includes warning about doors closing, name of next stop and advertising information, and information block, formed on external control command given before stop, includes name of stop and, if necessary, message about changes in movement route of transport vehicle.

EFFECT: possible dynamic changing of content of information blocks, reproduced inside the vehicle.
