FIELD: physics, computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an audiovisual information system in public transport, in particular to means of providing information support to the driver and the passengers and advertising in a vehicle. Using an executable program code with a database, the invention enables to provide information and reference support to the driver and passengers on a transportation route, update said information even when the vehicle is not moving or moves ahead of schedule, provides the driver with a reminder on a station ahead and recommendation on speed in accordance with time set according to the schedule independent of the control centre and Internet communications, provides the vehicle with a security system. The invention also operates without cellular or satellite communication, including in underground transportation routes.
EFFECT: invention automatically provides reference information to the driver and passengers.
