SUBSTANCE: disk cassette includes lower body, having opening made therein, upper body, together with body providing for encasement of disk therein, curtain for opening and closing aforementioned opening, and compaction element, position in close contact to non-information area at internal circle of disk, when curtain is closed, and separated from non-information area of disk at internal circle of disk, when curtain is open.

EFFECT: when curtain is closed, penetration by dust is prevented, and possibility of pollution on information area of disk is decreased.
