FIELD: devices for watching stereoscopic images.
SUBSTANCE: device is intended for solving a problem of creation of personal device fro watching stereo images represented by standard video display aid with big screen when image is presented as two images being represented simultaneously and forming a stereo pair. Device has magnifying lenses put in front of viewer's eyes and pairs of mirrors with reflecting surfaces turned to each other. The surfaces provide direction of images of stereoscopic pair, represented by video display aid, into eyes of viewer. According to the first version, device provides watching if stereoscopic images represented onto screen in form of stereoscopic pair of left and right images. According to the second version, device provides watching if stereoscopic images represented onto screen in form of stereoscopic pair when images are disposed one above the other. According to the third version, both kinds of images can be watched. Predominant form of realization of the devices has to be two similar optical modules for right and left eyes correspondingly. Modules are installed in front of viewer's eyes into position which provides view of stereoscopic pairs in form of right and left images or images disposed one above the other. Devices are provide with easy-removed gadgets for mounting the devices in front of screen of video display aid for adjustment of angle of view due to making changes in distances to screen.
EFFECT: high contrast of image; wide angle of view.
