FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves using two strips; sewing one edge of each strip on reverse side of related part, with sewing line extending no farther than along mid portion of strip; folding parts with sewn strips so that reserve sides are faced inward; aligning free cuts of strips and stitching strips; folding free edges of strips and sewing them on face sides of related parts while bending strip cuts. Method allows fabric threads to be prevented from being offset along stitch line. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 3 dwg
