FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to medicine, in particular to surgery. Sclerogenic agent is administered intravasally into varicosity of the low third of esophagus. Prior to the procedure elastic bladder is fixed coaxially on the distal end of the endoscope tube, which is placed in the esophageal lumen at 3-4 cm above the assumed injection site, it is filled with air performing compression of veins of submucosal layer. Whereat 5.0 ml of foam of 3% fibrovein solution is administered within 1.5-2 minutes.
EFFECT: method reduces post-surgical complications.
