FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling three holes on single line. The middle hole is set in perpendicular to splinter plane in its center. Peripheral holes are produced on the ends of both bone fragments at an angle of 45-60° to femur segment axis. Thread or wire is conducted through proximal hole from outside to inside. The thread or wire is brought out through the central hole from inside outside and back building extracortical loop. Thread or wire is conducted through distal peripheral hole from inside to outside and then, through the produced extracortical loop. Thread or wire is returned to the proximal hole and tied under tension.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in adapting splinter to b ed; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
