FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for cleaning teeth. Composition in the form of a dentifrice comprises a carrier medium acceptable for oral administration; a bivalent tin ion source; a zinc ion source, where the zinc ion source contains zinc oxide; a source of fluoride ions; an acid and a polyphosphate salt selected from a group consisting of inorganic polyphosphate salts which contain three or fewer phosphorus atoms; wherein the composition in form of a dentifrice is characterized by total content of water of less than 10 % in terms of weight of composition, and wherein the acid is phosphoric acid and the pH value of the composition is from 4 to 7, the polyphosphate contains a mixture of tetrasodium pyrophosphate and sodium tripolyphosphate, source of fluoride ions and source of bivalent tin ions provide fluoride of stannous tin, where phosphoric acid is present in amount of 0.2 % in terms of weight of composition.
EFFECT: invention provides improved availability of tin, zinc and fluoride.
