SUBSTANCE: according to method of orientating articles of different shapes when transporting them at the area of reception articles from line sequence at area of reception are disposed for subsequent transferring them to common carrier by damped surface of sequent set of transfer elements which surface is made for rotation. Any transfer element is made for reciprocal shift to receive articles and to mount or fix them in corresponding positions at common carrier. Either before receiving article to surface of transfer element damped by liquid, or before mounting or fixing it onto common carrier, receiving or mounting transfer element is subject to turn by corresponding angle during rotation of set of transfer element and either reception of article or its mounting is carried out. After that transfer element is brought to initial position.
