SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used in small-sized surface mounting automatons. Articles of line sequences in line sequence forming unit are disposed for subsequent transportation to common carrier by damped surface of transfer element set sequence with surface having been damped by liquid. Any transfer element is made for reciprocal movement to receive articles and to mount or to fix them at corresponding positions at common carrier. There are additional line sequence forming unit and additional transfer element set in the devices. Common carrier line-by-line shift is located between two units mentioned before. Reception of articles by transfer elements of basic and additional transfer element set is carried out from like line sequence forming units which are aligned and are made for turn by preset angle to meet each other followed by subsequent total cycle of turn of any of them about their own axes of rotation.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation.
