FIELD: rubber industry.
SUBSTANCE: rubber waste is subjected to thermal decomposition in vapor-gas reactor. Decomposition products are separated into vapor-gas products and solid carbon residue, from which metal is recovered via magnetic separation and remaining parts is disintegrated. Separated vapor-gas products are condensed to isolate oil, which is subjected to thermal decomposition at 900-2000°C into carbon black and gases. The latter are burned down and combustion products are used as external heating of rubber waste decomposition reactor. Vapor-gas products freed of oil are burned down together with disintegrated carbon residue at air excess factor 0.4-0.9. Combustion products are filtered to isolate carbon black.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption, achieved complete processing of waste, and improved environmental condition due to reduced formation of toxic substances.
