FIELD: rock cutting equipment, particularly drilling bits for well drilling along with well purging with air and water-air mixtures.
SUBSTANCE: drilling bit comprises diamond-containing matrix, body with cavity filled with substance having thermal resistance lesser than that of diamonds, matrix and body material. The cavity is made as a number of vertical blind channels filled with fusible metal so that gaps equal to maximal thermal linear metal extension is created. The channels are separated from matrix with sealing plugs.
EFFECT: reduced drilling bit wear due to increased intensity of working drilling bit surface during well drilling.
