FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: this invention refers to the drilling technologies and is intended to be used as the diamond bits and diamond crowns armoured with the synthetic and natural diamonds for the well-drilling. Drill bit including the body and the diamond-containing matrix with the end impregnated and undercut external and internal layers, armoured with the diamonds of different size watercourses into the operation sectors. The bit is located in the end impregnated and undercut external and internal layers, the diamonds of the smaller size additionally are uniformly located between the diamonds if the bigger size, and the linear dimension of the smaller diamond grain in the undercut and impregnated layers is the same and is 0.2-0.3 of the size of the big diamond grain. Impregnated layer of the matrix in the plan along the radius is divided for three areas of identical width, and the concentration of additional diamonds of the smaller size in the undercut layer, within the areas adjoining to the internal, middle and external diametre of the bit is in the proportion of 1.5:1.5:1.0:1.5 respectively. Compression resistance of the diamonds of the smaller size is equal or is less than the resistance of the diamonds of the bigger size in the undercut layer.
EFFECT: improvement of the resistance of the diamond bit and mechanical drilling velocity.
