FIELD: sealing devices, particularly adapted to lock doors or containers.

SUBSTANCE: sealing device comprises body adapted to receive bolt body so that the bolt is restricted from removal from the body. The body comprises cup for bolt arrangement, resilient clamp located inside the cup, which is situated behind bolt ledge. The clamp also comprises head and legs connected with the head. The head defines a gap which may be opened to permit bolt body part passage. The legs extend from head so that the legs are located along sides thereof and in low part of cup interior. Method for sealing device body involves providing clamp having legs extending in longitudinal cup direction; providing cup formed as cylindrical hollow member and base member; inserting the clamp in the first end of the cup; connecting the base member to the first end so that the clamp retains the bolt after bolt insertion in the cup.

EFFECT: reduced force necessary for bolt installation in the cup.
