FIELD: protection of environment, in particular, devices for detection of forest fires in the early stage and monitoring of fire spread.

SUBSTANCE: the device has a transducer for observation of fire situation, system of visual presentation of fire situation, information storage and control of the observation transducer coupled with the observation transducer via a communication channel, the observation transducer includes an optical camera, interface of data transmission and a power unit of the camera and interface. The optical camera has successively installed and optically linked with one another a flat scanning mirror, objective lens, rotary mirror, infra-red radiation receiver and an analog-to-digital converter.

EFFECT: enhanced functional abilities of the system, enhanced efficiency of detection of fires in the early stage, enhanced sensitivity, enhanced accuracy of determination of the co-ordinates of the fire in the region being monitored.
