FIELD: development of missile control systems, applicable in antitank missile complexes.
SUBSTANCE: the method for guidance of guided missile includes the missile take-off, reception and focusing on the photodetector of the luminous flux of the on-board source useful signal, discrimination of the coordinates of the useful signal source, determination of the guided missile coordinates and forming of control commands for transmission to the missile, focusing of the luminous flux of the on-board source useful signal is accomplished at the photodetector, whose photosensitive surface represents a matrix structure of photosensitive elements. In the process of discrimination of the guided missile coordinates the number of the photosensitive elements participating in forming of the matrix of the output signals from the photodetector is reduced in proportion to the increasing range to the guided missile. The guidance system of guided missile, having a series-connected objective lens, radiation photodetector, coordinate discrimination unit and a command forming unit, additionally uses a series-connected analysis field computation unit connected to the output of the coordinate discrimination unit, and a unit for cut-off of the cells connected to the radiation photodetector. The radiation photodetector is made on the basis of the photodetector with a matrix structure of the photosensitive surface.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of missile guidance without any change of the construction of the missile proper, enhanced reliability and precision of discrimination of the useful signal source at various background-target situations during the entire flight time of the guided missile, and enhanced noise immunity of the whole control system without a significant complication of it.
