FIELD: development of missile control systems, applicable in antitank missile complexes.
SUBSTANCE: the method for guidance of a guided missile includes the launch of the guided missile with an on-board radiation source, reception and focusing by the objective lens of the luminous flux of the background-target situation, discrimination of the co-ordinates of the on-board radiation source of the guided missile, determination of the co-ordinates of the guided missile, and formation of the control commands, before the launch of the guided missile the time interval from the moment of power supply to the control equipment to the appearance of the guided missile in the field of vision of the objective lens is computed and memorized, the value of the signal taking into account the inner noise of the photodetector and the background illuminance is computed and memorized, and after the launch the luminous flux of the background-target situation is focused by the objective lens on the photodetector with a matrix structure of the photosensitive surface, whose central cell is on the optical axis of the objective lens. The cells of the radiation photodetector, whose output signal exceeds the value of the signal taking into account the photodetector inner noise, are determined, their numbers in the first data file are memorized, on expiration of the memorized time interval the cells of the radiation photodetector, whose output signal exceeds the value of the photodetector inner noise, are determined, their numbers in the second data file are memorized, the numbers of the photodetector cells from the second data file are compared with the numbers of the photodetector cells from the first data file, an the co-ordinates of the on-board radiation source of the guided missile are discriminated in compliance with the arrangement of those photodetector cells relative to the central cell, that are present in the second data file, but are absent in the first data file. The guidance system of a guided missile having an objective lens, radiation photodetector and series-connected co-ordinate discrimination unit and command formation unit, in addition has an image processing unit and series-connected time counter, switchboard, memory unit and a selection device whose output is connected to the input of the co-ordinate discrimination unit. The objective lens output is connected to the input of the image processing unit, whose output is connected to the inputs of the switchboard and selection device, the radiation photodetector is based a matrix-type photodetector.
EFFECT: enhanced quality and reliability of the process of guidance of the guided missile without any change of the missile construction and, as a result, enhanced noise protection of the whole control system.
