FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with serological assay for Neospora caninum in animals. It is necessary to detect interaction of animal serum with Neospora caninum-reactive protein in animals being seropositive by the parasite mentioned due to immunoenzamatic solid-phase assay, radio-immune assay and Western-blotting. As protein one should apply either native or recombinant bradyzoid full-size fusion protein out of N.caninum or Toxoplasma gondii or truncated fusion protein or its fragment. The innovation enables to detect serologically N.caninum-seropositive animals being different against vaccinated animals.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
