FIELD: fire-fighting equipment; devices for extinguishing the peat-bog fires.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the fire-fighting equipment, in particular, to the trunks for imbuing of the invaded bed of the fire peat with extinguishers. The trunk for extinguishing the peat-bog fires contains the holey tube with the nose piece of the hose; two hollow handles, one of which is supplied with the union for connection of the flexible hose with the cock opening delivery of the fire-extinguishing liquid from the union into the holey tube with the nose piece of the hose. One of the rows of the perforations is made in the form of the nozzles placed at the angle of 20-50° to the axis of the trunk, the rest - at the angle of 90° to it, and the headpiece is made in the form of the butt expanding nozzle with the angle of expansion of no less than 3°. At that the ratio of the total sum of the areas the nozzles placed at an angle of 20-50° to the axis of the trunk to the total sum of the areas of the perpendicular nozzles and to the area of the end nozzle-piece as (20-25):(65-70):(8-12). The invention ensures reduction of the labor input for extinguishing the subterranean peat-bog fires at the increase of efficiency of the fire extinguishing.
