FIELD: pump gun of the "bullpap" design.

SUBSTANCE: the baffler has a joint to the smooth barrel, body whose longitudinal axis is parallel with the longitudinal axis of the gun barrel, having a receiver, the baffler is made for placement of it above the barrel and receiver of the pump gun of the "bullpap" design with a muzzle end means of detachment of the base from the projectile, and has a gas adapter connecting the baffler cavity and the muzzle end of the bore, and the muzzle end of the baffler body projects forward beyond the muzzle means and has a detachable muzzle cap, and the baffler cavity has a set of components providing separation and retardation of the flow of powder gases inside baffler body, which has a breech gas-discharge pipe branch for discharge of the flow of powder gases downward, the baffler is provided with a lower breech frame permanently connected to the baffler body and designed for installation and fixing of the firing device in it. The firing device represents a series-produced specimen of the pump gun, from which the components of the gun stock are preliminarily removed.

EFFECT: expanded technical potentialities of the baffler due to the possibility of its use on a series-produced pump gun of the "bullpap" design.
