FIELD: ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: the tray is made composite, positioned inside the cartridge case of the subcaliber shell for a smoothbore gun, has an inner metal case, in whose spare the thrown subcaliber shell is positioned, and which has a muzzle flange, which is made according to the barrel caliber and chamber of the muzzle means for separation of the trays from the shells. The flange width exceeds the width of the muzzle inner shoulder that is provided on the chamber and serves for fixing the moving tray. Provision is made for caliber polymeric case that envelops the inner metal case, and which has a breech obturation collar made for its expansion for obturation of powder gases, which act on the breach of the subcaliber shell tray moving on the bore. The length of the tray exceeds the diameter of the gas-intake hole of the adapter gas branch pipe of the weapon baffler.

EFFECT: enhanced operating characteristics for the tray of the subcaliber shell, used as an ammunition component of a noiseless tactical shot gun.
