FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in farms for presowing seed stimulation.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical casing and optical radiation source connected through power unit to power source. Optical radiation source comprises even number of lamps, in particular, at least six lamps. Maximal radiation of said lamps is provided within wavelength range of 340-347 nm. Lamps are uniformly distributed on inner side of cylindrical casing. Some of lamps are connected through throttles of power unit to first, second and third mains phases, respectively. Other lamps are connected to the same phases through throttles of power unit and additional capacitors, respectively. Lamps with different connection to mains are arranged alternatively with respect to one another for defining circular rotating optical radiation field.
EFFECT: uniform treatment of seed material and increased efficiency in producing of additional amounts of plant growing products.
