SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. A device for treating seeds before sowing is proposed, which consists of a housing with a top and bottom cover connected to a loading hopper with a dispenser, which is connected through a flexible hose to a spiral seed tube, a vibrator mounted on a flexible hose, ultraviolet lamps, one of which is installed in the center spiral seed tube, others on parabolic reflectors, which are located on the inner surface of the housing. An ultraviolet radiation intensity sensor is installed on the coil of the spiral seed tube, and the end of the spiral seed tube is fixed in a storage bin with a dispenser, which ensures the supply of seeds to the conveyor belt. The spiral seed duct is made of a material that transmits ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of 254 nm. A reflective coating is provided on the upper and lower housing covers, as well as on its inner surface.

EFFECT: device provides an increase in the utilization of the ultraviolet flux.
