FIELD: separating solids from solids.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises feeding grain material and air separately, control of the flow rate of the grain material and air, generating air-grain flow, separating the flow over the solid curved surfaces permeable for grain material and air into the top air-grain flow that initially flows over the top solid curved sloped surface in the direction of the air flows and then flows counter to the air flow over this surface to the bottom solid curved surface and bottom air-grain flow. The light fractions of the grain material are washed out from the top air-grain flow and transported to the settling chamber. The method is realized with the use of the device for aeromechanical separation of grain materials.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reduced explosion hazard.
