FIELD: cereal-processing industry, in particular, separation of cereals by complex of physicomechanical properties. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming aerial cereal mixture; subjecting aerial cereal mixture to the action of aerial film; dividing cereal mixture into fractions and discharging obtained fractions. Aerial film is produced by supplying air flow to solid rough perforated curved surface moving toward air flow. Perforated curved surface has variable curvature radius. Rocking motions are imparted to perforated surface while aerial film and perforated surface speed ratio is regulated. Fractions are discharged at aerial film decomposition period, during separation of cereal material components from solid curved surface of separation chamber and displacement of these components in vortex-free space. EFFECT: simplified method and increased efficiency in separating cereal materials. 5 cl, 1 dwg
