SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of alternating cyclic loading of roll operating in stand, regrinding and normalized aging. According to invention before aging coercive force distribution on surface of roll barrel is measured. Time period of aging is normalized according to mathematical relation.
EFFECT: enhanced strength of roll, elimination of fatigue breakage of roll barrel.
