FIELD: production of solid fuel; communal-general service; minor power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes metering of raw materials: peat and carbonic material, mixing them, drying and molding; liquid hydrocarbon component at natural moisture content of up to 50% and temperature above 100°C is fed to mixture of peat and carbonic material; this component is fed in the amount of 5-7% by weight; further mixing of materials is performed simultaneously with drying; dehydrated mixture is subjected to molding. Drying is performed by heating the mixer body or by direct delivery of superheated steam to mixer body at simultaneous suction of water vapor.
EFFECT: enhanced resistance to moisture and increased calorific value; reduced power requirements; minimization of process stages.
